Livio Bisterzo Is Proud to Introduce Hippeas

It can be difficult to find a healthy snack to eat on the go these days. This problem is compounded when you are also looking for something organic, vegan, kosher, and gluten-free. Obviously, asking your snack to taste good makes it even harder. Thankfully, Livio Bisterzo and his teammates rose to the challenge to get a snack like this into your hands. The result is a new product called Hippeas.

Hippeas are made pf organic chickpea puffs. Each pack of Hippeas contains only 100 calories, and each pack carries 3 grams of protein and a healthy amount of fiber. Livio Bisterzo, the man behind Hippeas and the founder of Green Park Brands, explained, “We started working with chickpeas as the hero ingredient and worked very hard to get the right shape, taste, bite and texture.” He continued, “We knew that we needed to create a product that didn’t steer too far away from what customers are used to and one they would be proud to pick up from the shelf.” Naturally, he also added, “We also wanted to create a snack that delivers on taste.”

As evidence of this, Starbucks recently decided to offer Hippeas at over 7,500 Starbucks locations throughout America. Customers will be able to grab either Vegan White Cheddar or Far Out Fajita with their coffee. If a huge corporation like Starbucks is eagerly carrying the product, you know that Bisterzo did well in the snack department!

People across the country are already enjoying the new snack. Bisterzo claims to have received comments from thousands of customers about Hippeas. Pleased with the positive response, Bistero said, “We wanted our snack to be culturally relevant, address many consumer trends and resonate with consumers,” said Bisterzo. “I believe that we delivered on the right product at the right time.”

Not content to simply turn a profit, Bisterzo works diligently to foster a social mission for his brand. He teamed up with Farm Africa to support chickpea farmers located in Africa. He sees this as only a starting point. “The recognition the brand is getting, the opportunities coming our way and the ability to give back are incredible. I couldn’t have asked for anything better,” he said.
